Jeffrey Loughlin, MHA

Principal Consultant

Mr. Loughlin is a Principal Consultant with the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative (MAeHC) working with providers and practice leaders to ensure successful adoption and implementation of health information exchange (HIE), and meaningful use of health information technology (HIT). Mr. Loughlin has worked with the Collaborative for over 14 years, providing a variety of consulting services to practice and community based electronic health record (EHR) and HIE initiatives. He is a US Army veteran with over 31 years of military service and currently serves as the State Surgeon, Massachusetts Army National Guard as a Medical Service Corps Colonel. Mr. Loughlin holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Simmons College in Boston, and currently instructs Advanced Healthcare Informatics as an adjunct faculty of the Boston University Metropolitan College. Mr. Loughlin also serves as the President of the New England Chapter, Health Information Management Systems Society (NEHIMSS).
